the e-Mexico Website, as well and its linked websites and communities, is
free. Notwithstanding this situation,
access to certain services is conditioned to the registration of the user in
the data base of the website. In these
cases, the user is obliged to utilize his access codes (login and password)
with the understanding that login and password are personal, to be utilized
only by the user. Their correct use and
safekeeping are the user’s responsibility.
Conditions of Use
The use of
the e-Mexico website must adhere to the content of these
Conditions for General Use, as well
as to whatever legal requirements apply and to what moral and generally
accepted social norms dictate. The
National e-Mexico System reserves its right to deny access to this
website to those users who do not follow the Conditions for General Use.
Trademarks and Copyrights
Trademark.- The name
"e-Mexico", together with any other distinguishable symbols (graphic or
icons) which appear on this website, is the exclusive property of the National
e-Mexico System which has legally patented these. This copyright allows, according to the
Federal Copyright Law and any other federal laws which may apply, the exclusive
right to use these above mentioned symbols and trademarks in the internet. Consequently, unauthorized use by third
parties is strictly forbidden by law.
The eventual appearance in this website of registered symbols and
trademarks not covered in the previous paragraph is done without commercial
intent and with the expressed permission of their owners, who have their own
exclusive rights to these symbols and trademarks.
Domain Names.- In the
same vein as the previous paragraph, the domain name "e-mexico.gob.mx"
and all other domains used to obtain direct access to this official site, are
the sole property of the National e-Mexico System. The inadequate use of this site for
commercial purposes violates copyright laws and will be pursued in accordance.
Copyrights.-
Content, text, photographs, designs, logos, images, sounds, videos, sound
recordings, animations, computer programs, source codes, and in general any
intellectual property existing on this website, as well as the site itself, are
considered as a multimedia work of art, and, as such, are all
protected by copyright laws.
The
artistic and literary works created at the request of and coordinated by the
National e-Mexico System in the development of the e-Mexico Website will be
protected by copyrights owned by the System, regardless of the fact that
recognition will be given to the authors.
Except in
the case of works which have become public domain, either by reason of time or
by any other reason, all authors whose work is accessed through this website,
have expressly authorized the National e-Mexico System that their work will
become public domain. In short, these
authors have relinquished their rights regarding the reproduction and public view of their
work.
In any
event, the National e-Mexico System kindly requests information regarding
possible copyrights on any of the programs or work comprising this website, as
well as any modifications or mistakes found on them.
According
to the Federal
Copyright Law, the National e-Mexico System retains the rights of
reproduction, distribution and publication of any editions made by the System
of works already in the public domain.
Likewise,
the data base which comprises all of the electronic programs which went into
the development of the e-Mexico Website and whose author is the National
